Client Relations Professional, Global Asset Management Firm, Birmingham or London, UK

This independent global asset management firm focuses on private assets including private equity, private credit, clean energy infrastructure and energy infrastructure credit. They are looking to hire a Senior Analyst or Associate into their Client Relations team with opportunity to develop communication, operational and organisational skills within the role.

Based out of their US, UK and Swiss offices, the Client Relations teamwork across the entire organisation. Your main responsibility will be to support and interact with their large, global investor base and, where possible, to engage and strengthen those relationships. This is a key time for the fund who are looking to expand and institutionalize their investor base and so need a forward-thinking and proactive individual who can grow with the team.

This role can be based in their London or Birmingham offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Act as the initial point of contact for investors via phone, email, and mail
  • Handle client queries across all geographical regions relating primarily to capital call and distribution notices, fund reports, and audit confirms
  • Assist with document production and logistics for client update meetings, fundraising roadshows for existing clients
  • Maintain the firm’s investor database
  • Assist in the implementation of joint initiatives with Sales, Legal and Compliance, Fund Operations, Marketing and Communication

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Educated to degree level with relevant experience working in investor relations, finance / legal operations, or compliance role
  • Highly developed interpersonal, customer service and verbal / written communication skills, must be comfortable speaking with broad range of stakeholders
  • Knowledge of anti-money laundering and control procedures, GDPR requirements, partnership subscription and transfer agreements
  • Ability to work in a small satellite office, in a global team environment, and with minimal supervision
  • German and / or Italian written and spoken fluency would be beneficial but not essential
