The alternative investment market is constantly changing, and our client is focused on anticipating and adapting to those changes – keeping one step ahead of the competition. They are hiring someone to analyse and develop new financial products which will give them an edge. In this role as Investment Manager, you’ll be instrumental in planning the firm’s strategy alongside seniors, including the Chairman.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement and execute a plan of action for viable new products following the diligence of the concept
- Monitor the implementation of approved concepts with analysis and formal recommendations each quarter to the Product Development Committee
- Evaluating the efficacy of products through market assessment, diligence and returns modelling
- Evaluate new funds and business activities in adjacent markets for potential integration with existing operations
YOUR PROFILE:
- 1-3 years consulting with an additional 1-3 years investment management experience
- Infrastructure or Renewables experience is desirable
- An ability to apply a broad corporate finance skill-set to a variety of investment classes and new business streams
- An ability to prepare comprehensive implementation execution plans, including identified funding channels, articulation of the underlying investment proposition and analysis of the profitability of the proposed new business
- A self-starter with initiative and an ability to both generate and evaluate new product ideas resolving potential issues as they arise
- A good understanding of laws and regulations with experience structuring funds and investments
- An ability to manage multiple projects at the same time, and prioritise appropriately, clearly communicating with other project members
