Our client is an industrial investment company tied to prominent entrepreneurs and investors. They are currently looking for an Associate to work alongside the firm’s CFO covering a range of complex portfolio acquisitions and post-acquisition tasks, from capital markets transactions to investor relation processes. This is an opportunity for self-motivated individuals to gain a diverse skillset in a dynamic, high calibre and lean team. The role will be based in Vienna.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Take on a diverse range of tasks relating to complex new acquisitions at the holding level as well as add-ons for the existing portfolio
- Cover a range of topics such as capital markets transaction; bond issuances and corporate loan transactions
- Support rating processes and roadshow preparation
- Take responsibility in the sale of minority stakes of subsidiaries
- Handle reporting to investors and the supervisory board as well as their ad-hoc requests
- Drive various due diligence work streams, Post-Merger-Integration projects and strategic corporate development
YOUR PROFILE:
- Demonstrable interest in real estate transactions and corporate finance
- Strong presentation and financial modelling skills are a must. Our client prefers candidates who are in, or have completed, the Analyst programme at a renowned investment bank or boutique as part of its M&A, leverage finance or debt capital markets team
- Entrepreneurial and self-starter mindset – you will work independently as part of small team reporting directly to the CFO and the Chairman’s Office
- Native-level German language skills and fluency in English are required for this role
