Our client, an exciting high-growth venture capital fund are currently looking to hire a senior HR Manager to oversee and lead their HR and people function across the organisations global platform. The fund, which has more than doubled its asset value over the past two years, invests across multiple strategies within the fast paced European growth and technology space. They have a fund-raise, a number of new acquisitions and internal projects lined up for the coming year – making it a very exciting time to join!
As the Senior HR Manager, you will be working very closely with the funds senior leadership team to provide strategic, project and operational HR, talent and people support for the fund as well as working closely with a number of the portfolio companies. You will be immediately afforded plenty of responsibility and autonomy in the role whilst leading a small but very effective international team.
This is a high profile and important appointment within the fund and is a fantastic opportunity for a HR professional with experience of working within a fast paced start up, scale up or fintech environment to really make an impact.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead the delivery of the HR and people function from both a strategic and operational perspective
- Provide first line support for all HR, people and talent related queries
- Oversee a small team of HR & talent professionals
- Develop strong relationships and work closely with the wider business
- Promote HR best practice in regards to legislation, regulatory reviews and policies
- Work closely with senior leadership in regards to talent management and performance
- Driving all HR-related events throughout the business
YOUR PROFILE:
- Experience working within a high growth environment such as a start-up, scale up or fintech
- Knowledge of the venture capital or investment space would be advantageous
- Proven experience of developing positive working relationships
- Previous experience of working closely with both internal and external senior stakeholders
- Comfortable working in an international environment where occasional travel will be needed
- Experience working across European jurisdictions would be advantageous
