A leading Africa-focused private equity fund is looking to hire a pre-MBA Senior Investment Analyst to work on pan-African deals from their London office. This is a 2 year fixed contract with many going on to top-tier, international, business schools.
The fund has over ten years of investing experience across Africa, a hugely impressive team and significant capital to deploy. In addition to their current AUM they are currently raising a significant third fund – as such it is a fantastic time to join this growing fund.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Identify and screen investment opportunities across Africa
- Technical analysis of potential transactions, including due diligence, financial modelling, and preparing investment proposals
- Provide support on deal execution, structuring, negotiation, and legal documentation
- Assist with the ongoing monitoring and management of the existing portfolio
YOUR PROFILE:
- Strong financial and strategic skillset gained from experience from within private equity or investment banking at Analyst level
- Excellent analytical, financial modelling, and reporting skills
- Tangible link to Africa, either through heritage or previous work experience
- Strong commercial acumen
- First-class academics from leading institutions
