Part-Qualified Junior Fund Accountant, Leading Private Equity Fund, Dublin, Ireland

Our client is a world-renowned private equity fund that is looking to hire a Graduate Accountant into their growing Dublin team. This is an excellent opportunity for recent Accounting graduates that may be looking to embark on their ACA qualification (study support provided). 

The Junior Fund Accountant will provide support to the Fund Finance area of the business. The candidate will report to the respective leads on the Fund Structures who are based in the London office. They will also liaise with other members of the finance team and engage with the external Fund administrators. The position will require travel to London up to twice a month for up to two days a week.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Assist with a view to leading in the review / preparation of quarterly accounts for Equity Funds and assist with audit process
  • Assist with investor quarterly reporting
  • Lead with investor queries and reconciliations
  • IRR calculations and other Fund Return calculations
  • Review of GL provided by Administrators
  • Review of payment schedules for all vehicles
  • Assist with calculation and review of drawdown and distribution notices
  • Review of contact database for funds
  • Assist in reviewing and publishing K-1 reporting
  • Assist in reviewing and publishing German tax reporting

YOUR PROFILE: 

  • Part Qualified Accountant (with a view to becoming Fully Qualified in relatively short order)
  • Experience within Financial Services sector (PE sector) favourable
  • Strong communications & organizational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
  • Ability to build relationships with external parties and Board of Directors
  • Flexible and willing to travel to the London Office
  • Competent with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to improve and keep data integrity
