Portfolio Associate (Spanish speaker), Leading Private Equity Firm, London, UK

Our client – a leading private equity firm are looking to hire a multilingual Portfolio Associate with real estate experience to join their high performing portfolio management team. Reporting directly to the Portfolio VP, you will gain significant exposure within valuations, portfolio monitoring, financial analysis and stakeholder management, whilst working closely with internal and external senior stakeholders. The AUM of the fund has doubled over the past 18 months and they are currently in the midst of a fundraise, making it a very exciting time to join. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Establishing reporting framework requirements for new portfolio companies, ensuring a seamless transition into the portfolio
  • Liaising with deal Executives on an ongoing basis to ensure monthly financial KPI data is relevant and in line with the budget
  • Maintaining and managing the portfolio monitoring system
  • Providing financial analysis and support to ad-hoc value enhancement projects
  • Driving the reporting to provide quality MI and analysis of the portfolio
  • Ensuring the data that is submitted is accurate and is consistent with the management accounts, board packs and management documents
  • Implementation of an automated diary system to monitor key loan metrics / milestones

YOUR PROFILE:

  • Experience of working within a real estate investment environment
  • Excellence in the analysis of financial data, an analytical mind is very important
  • Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Advanced financial modelling skills
  • A strong academic background in a relevant degree
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel modelling skills
  • Ability to speak Spanish, French or German
