Business Development Professional, Independent Placement Agent, Zug, Switzerland

This is an independent placement agent and secondaries advisor. It has been involved in over €3bn of deals. They have strong institutional investor relationships across Europe and are looking to strengthen their team with the addition of a distribution professional in Zug to cover either DACH, Dutch or Nordic markets.


  • Take the initiative to identify and develop relationships with institutional investors
  • Attend client meetings to build relationships and convert leads into commitments
  • Maintain on-going relations with investors
  • Coordinate internal teams to develop necessary marketing documentation for your investor meetings


  • Strong track record of capital raising and building relationships with institutional clients across either DACH, Dutch or Nordic regions
  • Private markets exposure would be an advantage
  • Strong personal drive to build relationships with new institutional investors across Europe – proactive and entrepreneurial
  • High level of financial acumen, ideally with a technical background from investing, banking or similar
  • Effective and confident communicator – additional European languages are an advantage
