Our client is an established, international Private Equity investment firm which is looking to expand its co-investment team in Amsterdam. They are looking for a Senior Associate to focus on screening and executing new deals across Europe. The current team works closely with colleagues across a number of international offices and this is a rare opportunity to join a truly global investment firm.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will play a part in all elements of the co-investment process and will take particular responsibility for managing and leading the deal evaluation and execution process
- You will also be heavily involved in the preparation of investment memos and Investment Committee reports
- You will gain some exposure to the monitoring of the portfolio and the ongoing relationship management with the GPs
YOUR PROFILE:
- You will have prior experience from a direct private equity institution; experience from a similar co-investment vehicle would also be considered. Candidates without prior PE experience will not be considered
- This is a transaction driven role and requires the person to have excellent analytical skills. You will also have prior transaction management experience and will be able to demonstrate a clear ability to lead on deals
- You do not need to be able to speak Dutch, as this is an international fund, but impeccable verbal and written English is a must
- The role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands and so you must be willing to be based there full time
