Our client are one of the best performing investment funds based in Doha and are looking for an Investment Data Operations Analyst to join their highly prestigious team. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals that have previous experience working in an investment data management role for asset managers, investment banks or investment firms.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Set-up and maintain data for all listed and unlisted securities
- Establish and implement proper controls, workflows and develop reports
- Identify reporting needs by initiating and determining scope, data-requirements and designing the workflow for new reporting and process enhancements
- Investigate and repair failed processes from the Core Accounting system to the downstream system, in order to assist the business in investigating and resolving errors related to pricing, positions, corporate actions, trades etc.
- Develop, document, enhance and maintain Data Management procedures for all daily tasks
- Review Data Integrity, Exception Reports and System Workflow Manager on daily basis
YOUR PROFILE:
- Knowledge of static data, reference data and market data gathering, update and maintenance for all asset classes
- Professional qualification such as CPA, CISI, IMC is preferable
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or equivalent
- Expert knowledge of Bloomberg
- Advanced excel skills and excellent troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of SQL (write), XML (read)
- Experience in Eagle preferred
- Experience in developing Data Governance framework/model would be plus
