About our client

We are working with an international private equity real estate fund focused on developing state of the art vertical residential developments, primarily in Mexico City. Our client seeks a Development Analyst who will work alongside senior team members in the development management and financial oversight of new projects, from approval of acquisition, through completion of construction. The position is based in Mexico City.
What the job involves

  • Support the entire development process in strict accordance with the fund’s standard policies and procedures
  • Provide analytical and project support to key Company’s initiatives
  • Possess knowledge of the zoning regulations in the markets and submarkets, as well as all permitting and entitlement requirements for projects’ analysis
  • Monitor critical timelines and deadlines for tasks and activities related to key projects
  • Track project’s cash flow requirements and forecast
  • Support the execution of quarterly monitoring processes to evaluate and report on the progress of the department against annual goals and objectives
  • Prepare and update investment underwriting memorandums for review and approval by the necessary executive authority
  • Elaborate presentations, internal reports and other communications as requested
  • Develop a good working knowledge of the fund’s financial model

Who we are looking for

  • Relevant work experience required, preferably in real estate, finance and/or project management
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, preferably civil, economics, or finance
  • Solid skills in working with Excel and financial modelling
  • Strong communication and problem solving skills
  • Proactive with a high level of energy
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
  • Availability to travel when needed
