About our client

Our client are a multi-family holding with a mixture of strategies in the Alternatives space. This team is newly-created and will focus on late-stage VC and growth opportunities via fund commitments and co-investments across the US and Europe. 

They focus on trends including climate innovation, electrification and mobility, seeking opportunities that will capture growth and provide synergies with the broader group 

What the job involves

  • Identifying, screening, and conducting due diligence on top-quartile private equity and venture capital funds that align with the thematic convictions of the team
  • Analysing potential fund investments based on criteria such as institutional grade, conviction in sustainability as a value driver, and geographic or technological coverage
  • Performing strategic portfolio monitoring of underlying funds to gain forward visibility on exposures and identify emerging winners that may become future co-investment targets
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with General Partners (GPs), including active participation in AGMs and other GP-led events to reinforce trust and facilitate informal deal dialogues
  • Supporting the broader team by leveraging insights from the fund-of-funds portfolio to identify correctly valued co-investment opportunities
  • Preparing analysis and materials for internal review and contributing to investor reporting

Who we are looking for

  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in fund analysis and manager due diligence
  • Experience in a fund-of-funds, multi-manager, or institutional LP role is highly preferred
  • A demonstrated passion for and knowledge of innovation and sustainability-driven investing
  • Knowledge of the European and US private equity and venture capital landscape, particularly within technology and sustainability
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain professional relationships
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small, senior team
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, business, or a related field
  • Fluency in English is required; proficiency in other European languages such as French or German is a plus
