About our client

Our client focuses on private equity investments in the hospitality sector in Mexico. They seek to recruit an Analyst for their investments and asset management team. The ideal candidate is a pro-active, analytical individual, ideally with firsthand experience in the real estate sector. You will be an essential collaborator that will contribute to the maximization of the profitability of the properties. The position is based in Mexico City
What the job involves

  • Work closely with senior team members of the investment team to conceptualize, structure, and analyze new deals and financing with private and institutional counter parties
  • Assist the acquisition teams with evaluations of prospective investments; Build comprehensive financial models on potential investments
  • Complete strategic asset management initiatives to improve property value; Capitalize on financial data to identify areas for improvement and make recommendations to increase profitability and reduce costs
  • Assist operating management teams and asset management colleagues with other corporate development transactions as required, including financing, acquisitions, sales forecasting, and strategic planning
  • Review and manage operating budgets, capital budgets and marketing plans
  • Maintain and track the firm’s investment pipeline
  • Monitor internal performance and financial reporting on behalf of investments and preparation of documents for investors (quarterly reports, track record, etc.)
  • Review property inspection reports
Who we are looking for

  • Solid years of relevant business experience, ideally at a real estate private equity fund, IB bank/ boutique and/or real estate company/developer
  • Hospitality experience is a plus
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business administration, engineering or a related field
  • Solid financial modelling skills required
  • Capable to multi-task and be nimble, with strong attention to detail, and a disciplined work ethic
  • Solid analytical, organizational, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to establish priorities in a fast-paced, fluid work environment
  • Resilient and able to work under pressure and meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Self- driven and process oriented
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish
