Due to its success and robust growth, our client is creating a new position for a Manager of Operations & Strategy. The company, backed by a leading European investor, is focused on the German-speaking market.
The Manager of Operations & Strategy will play a crucial role in the company’s operations, particularly in initiating and driving value creation initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity for a hands-on professional with a strong technical background and a deep understanding of the electrical engineering field to thrive in an investor-backed, agile environment.
What the Job Involves
As Manager Operations & Strategy, you will play a key role in optimising business processes, driving strategic initiatives, post-merger integration and ensuring operational excellence in this growing, private equity-backed platform, in the electrical engineering and installation sector.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Analysing current processes and identifying opportunities for optimisation
- Driving value creation initiatives to enhance business performance and long-term growth
- Leading and managing the Post Merger Integration (PMI) of existing group companies and future add-ons
- Realising synergies between the group companies
- Collaborating closely with different departments to enhance workflows and ensure seamless execution
Who We Are Looking For
- You require a degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field
- Several years of solid experience in the electrical engineering or installation sector is preferred and advantageous
- Experience in working for an investor-led group is a plus
- Experience in Post Merger Integration (PMI)
- Proven experience in operations management or process optimisation and strategy
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach to execution
- A track record in driving value creation initiatives and improving business performance
- A down-to-earth personality with excellent communication and leadership skills to drive change across teams.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate high-level goals into operational action.
- Open to travel between the different locations of the group (southern and mid Germany)
- Fluent in German as a requirement.
