About our client

Our client is a well-established PE-backed Buy&Build company in the healthcare sector growing both organically and through targeted acquisitions. They are pursuing an ambitious growth strategy in the area of intensive care. To strengthen their M&A team, they are therefore looking for a Manager of Corporate Development / Mergers & Acquisitions to join their team in Frankfurt, who will support the Head of M&A in the identification, analysis, and implementation of transactions.
What the job involves

  • Support in the preparation and execution of M&A transactions
  • Preparation and analysis of information on potential target companies
  • Creation of short profiles and decision templates for management and other stakeholders
  • Company valuation and development of indicative offers
  • Supporting contract negotiations
  • Organizing and supporting due diligence processes
  • Project management, including coordination of all due diligence streams
  • Processing and tracking information request lists, as well as setting up and updating data rooms
  • Acting as an interface between internal departments and external consultants
  • Financial analysis and modeling
  • Creation of financial models in Excel
  • Analysis of historical financial data and current trading of target companies
  • Creation of forecasts, planning calculations, benchmarking, scenario and KPI analyses
  • Market and competition analyses
  • Evaluation of the competitive environment in defined regions
  • Support in identifying and approaching new potential target companies
Who we are looking for

  • Successfully completed degree in economics or a comparable field of study
  • Multiple years of professional full-time experience in the areas of M&A, corporate finance, management consulting, or a related function
  • Excellent analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and a strong understanding of numbers
  • Confident use of MS Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of financial modeling is an advantage
  • Structured, independent way of working and a high degree of initiative
  • Strong team spirit and confident communication skills
  • Fluent German and English
