About our client

Our client is a global impact investing platform that backs purpose-driven companies tackling the world’s biggest challenges. They are looking for an Impact and ESG Manager to support on all fund-related oversight and support of impact and ESG affairs of a new strategy. 
What the job involves

  • Oversee, coordinate and ensure compliance with all fund-related impact & ESG requirements
  • Support regional investment teams on impact & ESG related tasks, assessments and activities
  • Onboarding new investee companies to the reporting process and requirements
  • Quarterly impact KPI tracking for existing investments
  • Assisting with impact & ESG communication and thought leadership
Who we are looking for

  • Significant dedicated experience in Impact Measurement & Management (IMM) and ESG management
  • Experience working in energy access or related sectors, emerging markets, preferably Africa, SEA and/or India or the private markets
  • In-depth understanding of IMM & ESG practices and activities throughout the investment process (pre- and post-investment)
  • Understanding and knowledge of European sustainable finance regulations (SFDR & EU Taxonomy)
  • Strong project management, coordination and problem-solving skills
  • An entrepreneurial attitude, able to offer genuinely insightful and commercially astute advice
