About our client

Our client is a leading private equity investment platform with a strong track record of investing across the private markets. As part of the continued development of its investment activities, the firm is looking to appoint an experienced private equity fund selection professional to join its investment team.

The role will focus on identifying, assessing and selecting high-quality US private equity funds across growth and buyout. Working closely with the broader investment team, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a differentiated view of the manager universe, sourcing new opportunities, conducting in-depth investment due diligence and contributing to investment recommendations and allocation decisions.

What the job involves

The role offers significant autonomy and exposure across the full investment process:

Source, assess, and execute private equity fund commitments and co-investments, with a strong emphasis on the North American middle market
Lead comprehensive due diligence processes for fund commitments, and post-syndication co-investments, including financial modelling, preparation of Investment Committee materials, presentation of investment recommendations, and transaction execution
Monitor existing investments and contribute to ongoing portfolio performance oversight, valuation, and reporting activities, including active participation in LP Advisory Committees

Who we are looking for

Significant experience in fund investments and co-investments with established knowledge of and relationships within the North American PE market
Ability to lead end-to-end due diligence processes and make high-conviction investment recommendations
Excellent financial modelling and analytical skills
Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams and stakeholders, including internal investment committees and external partners
Collaborative team player, comfortable operating in a lean, hands-on environment with significant individual responsibility
