About our client

Our client, a leading alternative investment manager, is seeking to hire an Investment Manager to join its private equity team, with a focus on co-investments: co-underwrite and post-syndication opportunities alongside a well-established network of mid- to large-cap GPs across Europe. The team is currently investing through two dedicated vehicles and is expanding ahead of the imminent launch of its next flagship fund.

What the job involves

The role will involve identifying and sourcing mid to large-cap co-investment opportunities, leading due diligence processes, preparing investment committee materials, and ensure deal execution, supported by a team of Associates.

• Identify and analyse GPs and associated co-investment opportunities in their deal flow
• Build / review financial models related IC documentation, and present your recommendation to IC and execute
• Monitor existing investments and ensure performance reporting
• Develop new relationships with investment funds in Europe, and occasionally across other geographies (North America and Asia)
• Mentor junior team members and foster a collaborative, cohesive team environment

Who we are looking for

• Strong academic track record with a Master’s degree from a top university
• Previous experience gained in a private equity fund
• Excellent analytical capabilities, with proven experience in financial modelling
• Fluent in English, an other European language would be an asset
• The position is based in Geneva; therefore, candidates must be willing to relocate and reside there full-time
