What the job involves

The Investment Manager will play a key role across the investment lifecycle, including origination, execution, and portfolio management within the mid-cap strategy.

• Leading and supporting investment analysis, due diligence, and financial modelling on new opportunities
• Driving transaction execution, including coordination of advisors and negotiation processes
• Taking ownership of key workstreams in investment memos and IC materials
• Working closely with portfolio company management teams on value creation initiatives
• Supporting buy-and-build strategies and international expansion projects
• Contributing to origination and relationship-building across the European mid-market
• Monitoring portfolio performance and supporting strategic decision-making at board level

Who we are looking for

• Several years of experience in private equity with background in investment banking or consulting
• Excellent financial modelling, analytical, and execution skills
• Strong commercial judgement and interest in value creation in portfolio companies
• Ability to take ownership and work independently while collaborating in a team environment
• Exposure to B2B sectors such as healthcare, technology, or business services is an advantage
• Strong communication skills and ability to interact confidently with senior stakeholders
• Fluent in German and English
