About our client

Our client is a successful and well-established international pension fund, with an impressive private equity fund and co-investments team based in London. They are currently seeking an Investment Director to join the team on a 9-month fixed term contract.

The group has an enviable track record investing both via funds and co-investments across Europe. They work in the lower mid-market space, with a particular emphasis on emerging managers.

What the job involves

Conducting due diligence on co-investment opportunities
Conducting due diligence on private equity funds including track record analysis, benchmarking and referencing
Preparing investment recommendation papers for presentation to the investment committee
Assisting in the closing process of new investments (e.g. legal review, AML/KYC workstreams)
Assisting in the coverage of the European private equity market by engaging with existing managers, screening new managers, and maintaining market maps
Monitoring of existing fund investments and co-investments

Who we are looking for

Bachelor's degree
Experience in private equity investing either as an LP or GP
Financial analysis and modelling experience
Strong problem solving and relationship building skills
