About our client

We are working with an impressive social impact fund to add an Investment Associate to their high-calibre team. They invest broadly in firms developing digital technologies for skills needed for work under the broad umbrella of Vocational-Technology (VocTech).

They are committing more of their core funds targeting exciting, early-stage businesses with investments starting at £250,000, and follow-on investment available.

This is an exciting opportunity to join as an Investment Associate, working alongside the Senior Investment Manager and Director, to deploy the new fund and support the existing portfolio. As a small and lean team, you will have uniquely high exposure to the full deal lifecycle and have great responsibilities from day one.

What the job involves

• Managing initial stages of deal flow process, conducting research and overseeing CRM
• Networking and relationship building both internally and externally
• Supporting portfolio management, analysing performance and assessing impact
• Managing technology solutions to streamline productivity
• Driving planning, administration and reporting

• Strongly motivated and have a true passion for social impact investing
• Full-time work experience is essential from a relevant institution where you have developed a financial toolkit
• Highly numerically literate and analytically strong
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
