About our client

We are representing an exceptional opportunity with a leading investment office in Dubai that is looking for a Senior Associate to join their private markets finance team. The role will oversee the financial, accounting, and operational responsibilities for the private markets investments. The role will have oversight and manage the relationships with the external service providers and partner with senior management in the development and continuous improvement of operational governance and monitoring framework. The Senior Associate will support management and the wider operational team on the implementation in automation and process improvement. This role will require full relocation to Dubai.
What the job involves

  • Review investment accounting and support fund reporting
  • Review performance and valuation reporting
  • Manage capital events and maintain accurate records of capital contributions and distributions
  • Monitor private asset performance and identify potential risks
  • Responsible for the relationships with external administrators and service providers
  • Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and review of thorough transaction documentation
  • Support management in the private asset annual audit process
  • Support in preparing materials and reports for the management and investment committees for quarterly and annual reporting cycles
  • Assist Group-related projects including performance and risk management reporting
  • Support investment manager outreach to enhance data collection and insights
  • Support management and the wider Group on ad hoc project tasks

Who we are looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics or a related field
  • Qualified Accountant
  • Strong understanding of private markets finance and portfolio reporting processes and controls
  • Experience in Private Markets is essential and experience in Private Equity is beneficial
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in excel, financial modelling and analysis
  • Strong communication skills for effectively engaging stakeholders at all levels
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
  • Experience with portfolio and finance systems and reporting tools
  • Strong understanding of legal and regulatory requirements for private investments operations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
