About our client

We are working on an exciting role with a leading private equity investor, based in Amsterdam, which is looking to hire an Analyst to join its large primaries platform. With more than $50bn of committed capital they are highly active in the mid-market space, targeting high-quality access-constrained established and emerging managers. As part of an integrated platform with a collaborative culture, the team works closely with the Secondary, Portfolio Finance and Co-Investment teams to deliver differentiated access and exposure across the global private equity landscape.

What the job involves

• Developing relationships with leading private equity managers by participating in meetings
• Particular responsibility for financial analysis and support on further due diligence
• Contribute to the preparation of investment memos and reports to present to the investment committee
• Monitor the current portfolio of fund investments and attend advisory board and GP meetings
• Assist with client reporting and interaction

Who we are looking for

• Internship or Analyst level experience in a leading banking or private equity institution; long term internships are welcomed too
• Relationship building personality that would thrive in an international environment
• Excellent financial modelling skills and analytical mindset
• A good understanding of private equity would be advantageous
• You do not need to be able to speak Dutch, as this is an international fund, but impeccable verbal and written English is a must
• The role is based in Amsterdam, Netherlands, so you must be willing to be based there full time
