About our client

IP Group is a leading venture capital investor, focussed on cutting-edge innovation in deeptech and life sciences. The Capital Team are a fund management and corporate finance advisory team providing end-to-end support across group-level fundraising, portfolio growth, and strategic transactions. They are seeking a high-calibre Analyst to join their team and help drive execution and insight across their fundraising and advisory work.

You will play a critical role in delivering high-quality financial and strategic support across their portfolio, pipeline and investor network. You’ll be exposed to a range of fast-growing sectors, working closely with investment professionals, founders, and other advisors.

What the job involves

  • Industry and market research: Conduct sector deep-dives, investor landscaping, and macro analysis to support fundraising narratives and investor targeting
  • Fund management: Assist group-level fundraising and day-to-day management, including materials, internal coordination, and task tracking
  • Portfolio support & fundraising: Support their portfolio companies with capital raises by preparing/reviewing pitch materials, financial models, data rooms, and investor pipelines
  • Investor database management: Maintain and refine investor CRM systems, track outreach and engagement, and ensure data accuracy
  • Internal & external reporting: Help prepare materials, including internal updates and investor presentations
  • Compliance & process support: Provide occasional support to ensure KYC, legal, and process compliance, in coordination with internal teams

Who we are looking for

  • Relevant experience in corporate finance, investment banking, transaction services, or venture capital; internships with relevant exposure are also considered
  • Bachelor’s degree from a leading university in a STEM / economics / finance related discipline
  • Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to distil complex information into clear insights
  • Solid modelling and PowerPoint skills
  • Excellent organisational and project management capabilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • Self-starter attitude with high attention to detail
  • Familiarity with AI tools and platforms would be highly desirable
  • A passion for working with early-stage companies
