Employees are given significant responsibility from an early stage and work closely with investment professionals, founders, and portfolio companies on strategic, operational, and financial topics.

To further strengthen its international finance team, the firm is looking to hire a Finance Manager to support and further develop its finance, reporting, and operational infrastructure. The role is based in Munich and offers broad exposure across finance, controlling, stakeholder management, and process optimization within a dynamic international investment environment.

What the job involves

  • Improvement and implementation of best-in-class fund reporting and data analysis processes, particularly around portfolio and performance KPIs in the context of future fundraising activities and upcoming fund generations
  • Ownership and continuous enhancement of the internal database covering cap tables and financing rounds across all portfolio companies, including aggregation on holding level
  • Preparation of employee-specific carry calculations and annual investment performance overviews
  • Responsibility for company-wide cash flow management and liquidity planning
  • Execution of national and international payment processes, including cross-border investment transactions
  • Support in negotiations and coordination with external capital providers and financing partners
  • Maintenance and further development of a centralized loan overview across holding and portfolio company structures, including interest calculations and adjustments
  • Support the further build-out of the finance function in line with increasing regulatory requirements, including future AIFMD full-regulation compliance
  • Management of internal and external stakeholders, including exposure to LPs and preferred equity investors
  • Establishment of finance and reporting best practices across portfolio companies
  • Close collaboration with investment professionals and portfolio company founders on finance-related topics and strategic initiative

Who we are looking for

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • At least a couple of years of relevant professional experience within consulting, audit, investment firms, start-ups, industrial companies, or corporate holding structures
  • Initial exposure to finance and/or controlling topics
  • Strong Excel and finance systems capabilities combined with a general affinity for technology and digital tools
  • Power BI knowledge is considered advantageous
  • Strong analytical and structured working style with high attention to detail
  • Ability to independently drive topics across multiple stakeholders in a dynamic environment
  • Entrepreneurial mindset combined with a genuine interest in technology investing and fast-growing businesses
  • Hands-on mentality with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving organization
  • Fluency in English and German
