We are working with a prestigious family office, who are looking to expand their investments team based in Abu Dhabi. The team has a flexible investment mandate and focuses on alternative investments, including direct private equity, private credit, real estate, credit fund managers and public equities. This is an exciting opportunity for a VP to join their team based in Abu Dhabi. This role will focus on private equity direct investments and co-investments. This team is extremely well-funded, has a global remit and has access to investments that other firms are unable to access.

About our client

Our client is an internationally active alternative investment fund with a strong track record. The team invests in traditional private equity and private credit, as well as private credit fund managers and public equities. The fund has a global mandate and is sector agnostic. This is an exciting opportunity to join their growing team based in Abu Dhabi.

What the job involves

Involvement in all aspects of the transaction process including sourcing, analysis and execution of investment opportunities across sectors including due diligence, financial modelling, deal structuring and negotiation and creation of all investment committee materials
Support the monitoring of the performance of portfolio companies and recommend corrective actions

Who we are looking for

Experience in private equity
Candidates must be based in the UAE or GCC already
You should have a degree from a top-tier university
Strong analytical and financial modelling skills as well as strong communication and presentation skills
Fluency in Arabic is advantageous, but not required
Ability to be based in Abu Dhabi full-time
