About our client

We are working with an established private equity infrastructure manager. This is a newly created Investor Relations Associate position within the firm's Copenhagen office, and a chance to join the team at an exciting point as the firm prepares to launch their next fund raises. The role has been created to strengthen the team's fundraising and legal execution capabilities, particularly around fund documentation and LP due diligence, whilst supporting the wider fundraising process. This is a lean and highly collaborative team with significant responsibility from day one. They are seeking someone based in Copenhagen or willing to relocate.

What the job involves

• Manage end-to-end fundraising processes and ensure high-quality investor engagement
• Analyse fund performance and benchmark against relevant market comparators; present insights clearly in written and verbal formats
• Develop investor and marketing materials, including PPMs, RFPs, fund overviews and presentations
• Support fundraising processes, coordinating with placement agents, legal counsel and external advisers
• Partner with Investment and Compliance teams to develop thought leadership that drives investor engagement
• Support management and investor reporting, both regular and ad hoc
• Help plan and deliver investor events, roadshows and update calls
• Research competitors, market trends and industry developments

Who we are looking for

• Foundational experience as funds counsel within a law firm or alternative legal training with a desire to transition career into private markets investor relations
• Experience in private equity or fund management, ideally spanning funds counsel, fundraising and investor relations
• Strong technical skills, knowledge of alternative investment strategies and the intellectual agility to understand, evaluate and contribute to new strategies and products
• Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage high-volume processes effectively
• A track record of success in both individual and team-oriented environments
• Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly and credibly with a range of internal and external audiences
• A strong work ethic and self-starter mindset
