About our client

Our client, a fast-growing professional services company led by high-calibre, entrepreneurial investors with a distinctive buy-and-build strategy, is currently seeking a Head of PMO (Project Management Office) based in Germany. This role places a strong emphasis on the hands-on execution of projects and initiatives aimed at accelerating value creation. Digitalization and AI are expected to play a key role in the company’s development in the coming years. We are looking for an individual with an entrepreneurial mindset and 4-8 years of experience, as this is a key strategic position within the organization. The company is headquartered in Berlin. Remote work is possible, with a willingness to travel 1-2 days per week.

What the job involves

Drive and oversee post-merger integration across business units
Ensure governance, transparency, and alignment at all organizational levels
Lead key initiatives to unlock synergies and accelerate value creation
Act as the central point for cross-functional coordination and decision-making
Monitor progress, report on KPIs, and proactively adapt integration plans
Support cultural alignment and change management for seamless transitions
Advise leadership on strategic and operational integration priorities
Build and implement tasks and processes, including selected M&A activities

Who we are looking for

Proven experience in post-merger integration, change management, or corporate strategy
Initial training or experience with a strategy consultancy is a plus
Strong track record of driving cross-functional projects to successful completion
Ability to influence and align stakeholders across all organizational levels
Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and operational excellence
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-impact environments
Experience and strong interest in digital and AI-driven solutions
Results-oriented, proactive, and highly organized personality
Willingness to travel 1–2 days per week within Germany
Fluent in both German and English
