About our client

Our client is a prominent global investor based in the UAE, renowned for their excellent reputation and substantial capital resources. They are seeking an Investment Professional to support and develop their investment strategy across Fixed Income and Private & Public Credit. This is a full-time role based in Abu Dhabi.

What the job involves

• Assist the Portfolio Manager with managing all public and private credit portfolios, as well as other fixed income investments
• Collaborate on co-investments in private credit, fund investments in public/private credit, and manage the existing portfolio
• Support the Portfolio Manager in implementing the strategy across the entire investment process, including portfolio construction, manager selection, portfolio and manager monitoring, and risk management
• Assist with investment operations, ensuring the completion of all investment, audit, and other reporting requirements within the investment department
• Conduct analysis, research, and due diligence on investment management firms, and assist in conducting manager searches
• Maintain ongoing communication with current managers to ensure proper oversight of assets, including participating in monthly or quarterly conference calls and annual meetings, either in Abu Dhabi or at offices abroad

Who we are looking for

• Buyside expertise in public or private credit, with broad exposure to a range of investment types.
• The ability to formulate and defend independent investment rationales
• Experience in manager selection for either public or private credit investments is essential.
• Strong analytical skills, both qualitative and quantitative
