About our client

Our client - a premier international real estate fund - is expanding its presence in Mexico and has created an exciting new position for a Construction Project Manager. You will play a leading role in in managing the construction process of high-end branded residences and luxury homes. The position is based on Los Cabos, Mexico.

What the job involves

• Lead the construction of diverse projects and ensure on time delivery within budget
• Supervise the project on site on a regular basis to manage the project effectively
• Establish standard construction policies & procedures for monitoring and maintaining budget/costs and mitigate the risks associated with the construction
• Lead the preconstruction activities with the development and property management teams, focusing on maintaining company standards
• Supervise and effectively coordinate subcontractors, construction management partners and project consultants
• Implement lean construction techniques to measure and control projects, while simultaneously reducing costs & time and improving quality & execution
• Manage project plans in alignment with scope, time, cost, quality, and resources available, including the oversight/review of procurement, submittal and change order schedules
• Provide regular reports and updates on projects’ advances to internal and external stakeholders

Who we are looking for

• Solid construction experience, ideally with hospitality and luxury projects, vertical residential or mixed-use developments
• Bachelor´s degree in engineering, architecture or related field
• Skilled in handling multiple tasks, with the ability to deliver against budget, schedules. Sense of urgency to perform on a deadline
• Demonstrated ability to understand, analyse and communicate complex documents affecting real estate projects, including drawings, surveys and contracts
• Fluency in English is a plus
