About our client

Our client is an established investment firm looking to expand its high-calibre private equity fund and co-investment investment team in the Middle East by adding an experienced manager selection or co-investment professional to its highly collegiate and successful team.

What the job involves

This role sits within the private markets investment team where you will play an important role in the private equity fund and co-investments team. The team invests across private equity funds and co-investments globally, across a wide range of geographies. 

• Assist the senior team with defining investment strategies
• Assist with LP and co-investments, to contribute to the long-run financial sustainability of the fund
• Assist the senior team in managing the investment program by providing analysis, monitoring, and evaluation of assigned investment portfolios
• Maintaining knowledge of potential investment managers; co-investment opportunities, providing research and analysis for investment selection
• Write recommendations on selection and removal of external investment managers to CIO
• Assist investment operations analyst with completing all investment and other investment department reporting and monitoring requirements

Who we are looking for

• Candidates must have experience of investing into mid/large-cap GPs based in the USA (please note that this is a pre-requisite for this role)
• Experience of leading private equity fund investing / manager selection and/or co-investments, is required for this role 
• Ability to lead, manage and develop junior team members 
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player
• Good financial modelling skills 
• Should enjoy working in a growing team with an entrepreneurial, high-performance culture
