The direct private equity team operates as a highly active investor across Europe, focusing on control and significant minority investments, primarily through leveraged buyouts. The London office plays a key role within the broader international platform and offers a collaborative, informal, and high-performing environment.

What the job involves

Working within the London-based private equity team, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the deal team, supporting both new LBO investments and ongoing portfolio company monitoring.

As an Associate, you will also take on responsibility for guiding and mentoring more junior analysts, while coordinating workflows across internal and external stakeholders.

  • Supporting the evaluation and execution of investment opportunities, including preparing analysis and investment materials
  • Building and reviewing financial models (incl. LBOs) and conducting valuation and business analysis
  • Coordinating due diligence processes and managing workstreams with external advisors during live deals
  • Preparing investment committee materials, internal reports, and portfolio monitoring documentation
  • Analysing financials, performing comparable analysis, and generating insights on target companies and sectors
  • Working closely with senior team members and internal stakeholders (e.g. tax, ESG, legal) to support transactions
  • Producing value-add analysis on portfolio companies, including performance tracking and strategic recommendations
  • Conducting market and sector research to inform investment strategy

Who we are looking for

  • At least 3 years’ experience in investment banking and/or private equity
  • Strong academic background in a relevant discipline
  • Advanced financial modelling skills, including LBO experience
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and defend your work
  • Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken
