About our client

Our client is a leading real estate investment and development firm specializing in the acquisition and development of industrial assets across Mexico’s key markets. The fund seeks a Senior Analyst / Pre MBA Associate to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals who have established a strong and expanding footprint in the country. The role is based on-site in Mexico City.
What the job involves

  • Lead advanced financial modeling and valuation analyses for industrial real estate investments, including discounted cash flow (DCF), levered and unlevered IRR, sensitivity analyses, scenario modeling, and residual value assessments
  • Analyze and structure complex capital stacks, including equity, mezzanine financing, senior debt, and co-investment structures, to optimize risk-adjusted returns
  • Evaluate investment performance using key real estate and financial metrics, such as Cap Rate, NOI, MOIC, IRR, LTV, DSCR, and comparable rental benchmarks
  • Support and coordinate comprehensive due diligence processes, including technical, legal, tax, and commercial reviews, ensuring alignment with investment and risk criteria
  • Ensure compliance with the Mexican regulatory and legal framework applicable to real estate investments, including zoning and land use regulations, permits, lease agreements, trust structures, and related documentation
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external advisors to support investment execution and asset management initiatives

Who we are looking for

  • Proven professional experience within investment banking, real estate funds, private equity, or related investment platforms
  • Hands-on involvement across the full investment lifecycle, including underwriting, due diligence, transaction structuring, and deal execution/closing
  • Strong academic background with a bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, engineering, business administration, or a related quantitative discipline
  • Demonstrated ability to independently analyze investment opportunities and develop well-supported recommendations under limited supervision
  • Advanced financial and strategic thinking capabilities, with a clear focus on long-term value creation
  • Experience in preparing, presenting, and defending investment memoranda before investment committees
  • Sound commercial judgment and effective negotiation skills when interacting with brokers, developers, lenders, and other counterparties
  • High standards of professional ethics, strong organizational skills, and a results-driven mindset
  • Native-level Spanish and advanced-level English fluency
