Our client is an investment management platform which is looking for a Chief Operating Officer, to join their team in Bahrain.

What the job involves

Full lead and oversight of functions which includes but is not limited to:

• Relationship Management: communicating with investors, contributing to RFPs and DDQs, maintaining central database of IR information and supporting investment teams in fundraising for new and existing vehicles
• Marketing 
• Legal
• Fund operations 
• Digital
• External Finance Function Oversight: oversee all aspects of the third party finance function including fund administration, budgets, end-of-year audit and performance monitoring of the portfolio companies

Who we are looking for

• Experience of being in a COO or equivalent role in an investment / asset management or financial services business
• Strong leadership qualities 
• Degree educated
• Driven to add value to all aspects of the role
• The ability to leverage AI and data analytics to enhance client experience
• Very high level of attention to detail, communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to both work effectively within a senior team and to multi-task and determine priorities
• Understanding of advanced business planning and regulatory issues
• A solid grasp of data analysis and performance metrics
• Be able to diagnose problems quickly and have foresight into potential issues
• A track record of creating operational excellence within the context of a COO role
