About our client

We are working on an exciting opportunity with a global private investor based in Abu Dhabi. They are looking to hire a Quant Principal or Director to lead their asset allocation and portfolio construction team.

What the job involves

Creating and maintaining quantitative tools and models to aid with strategic and tactical asset allocation decisions
Development and implementation of the investor's asset allocation strategy
Development of tools to monitor macroeconomic and market conditions that will help to identify potential investment opportunities
Developing and maintaining investment risk IT systems

Who we are looking for

A background in asset allocation and strategy with a sizeable investment corporation
Strong programming skills e.g. Python
Strong market monitoring capabilities, having worked across private markets
Sound judgement and grounding in risk measurement and monitoring with a focus on the overall portfolio strategy
A high degree of economic literacy on private markets with an understanding of different asset classes
A commercial nature upon viewing potential business plans and opportunities
Graduate or postgraduate degree in a relevant field, for example machine learning, AI, economics, finance, engineering, statistics, mathematics, or physics
