About our client

Our client is a leading Nordic mid-market private equity firm with more than 35 years of investment experience and approximately €10 billion of assets under management. Following the successful raise of its latest €2 billion flagship fund, the firm is expanding its European footprint with the opening of a new investment office in Zurich.

The Zurich office will serve as the firm's hub for the DACH region, working closely with the existing Nordic platform to source, execute, and manage investments. As part of this strategic expansion, several senior leaders, including Partners, will relocate to Zurich, creating a unique opportunity to join the business during an exciting period of growth.

What the job involves

Successful candidates will join a lean, entrepreneurial investment team and gain exposure across the full private equity investment lifecycle, including:

• Evaluating and executing new investment opportunities
• Financial modelling, valuation, and commercial analysis
• Managing due diligence processes
• Supporting portfolio companies and value creation initiatives
• Driving buy-and-build acquisition strategies
• Working closely with Partners and senior leadership on investment decisions
• Contributing to deal origination and relationship development across the DACH region

Who we are looking for

• Prior experience in a private equity fund investing across DACH
• Strong execution experience across the investment lifecycle
• Experience working with portfolio companies and value creation initiatives
• An entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to take ownership in a lean team environment
• Interest in developing origination capabilities and building long-term relationships across the DACH market
• Native German, other languages an asset
