What the job involves

  • Lead financial modeling and valuation analysis for potential acquisitions and development opportunities, including detailed discounted cash flow (DCF) models to assess returns
  • Prepare high-quality Investment Memos and materials for presentation to the Investment Committee and Board of Directors, collaborating closely with associates and senior management throughout the acquisition process
  • Evaluate investment opportunities by collecting and analyzing in-depth market data, providing informed perspectives on risk, value, and performance potential
  • Support ongoing asset management, including monitoring, quarterly valuations, reporting, and portfolio performance tracking through proprietary software and KPI analysis
  • Collaborate with portfolio company management teams and sponsors, participating in diligence calls, board meetings, and lender communications to ensure optimal investment oversight
  • Assist teams with re-underwriting, transaction amendments, and due diligence on active investments
  • Develop periodic and ad hoc reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership, investor relations, and limited partners
  • Represent the firm professionally in the broader real estate and investment community, including interactions with brokers, bankers, and service providers
  • Travel occasionally as required by project or portfolio needs

Who we are looking for

  • Strong technical skills, advanced proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros), with solid PowerPoint and Word abilities; experience with Argus is a plus
