Are you a seasoned finance leader in the IT-Services sector? We are building a network of dynamic CFOs and Finance Directors to take on high-impact leadership roles within private equity-backed portfolio companies across the DACH region.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and lead a best-in-class finance function, driving operational excellence and strategic growth
- Partner with the management team to shape and execute business strategy
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes
- Develop robust financial models and performance metrics to enable data-driven decision-making
- Deliver accurate financial reporting and insights to guide strategic and operational performance
- Manage budget preparation, controls, and financial forecasting, ensuring transparency and accuracy
- Identify, implement, and optimize state-of-the-art management information systems and KPI steering
- Cultivate strong relationships with financial institutions to optimize capital structure and liquidity
- Drive buy-and-build strategies and M&A transactions, ensuring seamless post-merger integration and sustainable value creation
- Define and communicate the company’s equity story, shaping exit strategies to maximize shareholder value
- Continuously improve and optimize finance processes, controlling instruments, and analytical tools
- Lead organizational optimization and transformation initiatives
- Serve as the primary contact for auditors, tax advisors, and key investors
Your Profile
- University degree in finance, economics, business administration, or a related field
- Extensive experience as a CFO or Finance Director in small- to mid-cap companies, with a proven record of commercial success and transformation leadership
- In-depth understanding of the TMT sector, particularly IT-Services
- Experience in private equity-backed environments is a strong advantage
- Proven success in executing M&A transactions and post-merger integrations, ideally within a buy-and-build framework
- Exit experience is a plus
- Comprehensive finance expertise across controlling, accounting, and reporting standards
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking with a data-driven mindset
- Hands-on, results-oriented, and pragmatic leadership approach
- Modern, inclusive, and empathetic leadership style
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
- Fluency in German and English
