Our client is a real estate investment and development firm focused on the acquisition and development of industrial properties in Mexico’s top markets. They have an exciting new opening for a Leasing Manager. This is the ideal chance to join a seasoned team of professionals that have built a solid and growing presence in Mexico. The position is based in Mexico City.

What the job involves

• Manage the daily and on-going leasing activities, supporting the property management team and other internal and external stakeholders in customer interactions, acquisitions, development, and dispositions
• Maintain close relationships with industrial brokers in different markets across the country
• Execute and monitor the signing of leasing contracts, LOIs and RFPs
• Interact with current and prospect tenants to identify new opportunities and needs
• Deliver high-quality customer service
• Develop, implement, and lead a strategic research and marketing plan that aligns with the firm’s local business objectives
• Visit and work closely with the properties in the portfolio
• Track and analyse all aspects of the local industrial real estate market in the country
• Represent the organization by building strong relationships with internal and external clients and brokers
• Prepare and present reports to executives and committees

Who we are looking for

• Experience in the industrial real estate sector in Mexico
• Knowledge of leasing agreements and legal documentation in the industrial real estate sector
• Bachelor’s degree in administration, business or similar field
• Superior negotiation skills
• Confident and ethical
• Bilingual fluency in Spanish and English
• Availability to travel
