As part of its continued growth in Latin America, the firm is seeking an Investment Associate to join its dynamic and expanding team. Reporting directly to the Head of Growth Markets Funds in LATAM, this role will play a key part in evaluating and executing investment opportunities across the region. The position is based in Mexico City and offers the opportunity to work on high-impact renewable energy and infrastructure investments within a highly international and collaborative environment.

What the job involves

  • Lead financial modeling, valuation, and investment analysis to support critical investment decisions across renewable energy and infrastructure projects
  • Drive investment workstreams throughout the full investment lifecycle, including due diligence, project development, financing, execution, and divestment activities
  • Evaluate new investment opportunities by supporting project development initiatives, M&A transactions, financing processes, and commercial arrangements
  • Structure and analyze financing solutions, while supporting negotiations with lenders, co-investors, and other financial counterparties
  • Manage relationships with external stakeholders, including project developers, lenders, energy off takers, technical advisors, legal counsel, EPC contractors, and equipment suppliers
  • Prepare high-quality investment memoranda, financial analyses, and executive presentations for investment committees, boards of directors, investors, and other key stakeholders

Who we are looking for

  • Strong expertise in financial analysis, valuation methodologies, and advanced financial modeling, combined with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to manage complex projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment, applying a structured and solution-oriented approach to decision-making
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and confidently interact with professionals at all organizational levels
  • Self-motivated and proactive mindset, capable of working autonomously while collaborating effectively with cross-functional and international teams
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to translate complex analyses into clear financial insights and executive-level presentations
  • Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal, enabling effective communication in a global business environment
  • Adaptability and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic, multicultural, and highly collaborative organization
