About our client

Our client is a Mexico-based private equity real estate fund launched in 2018, focused primarily on the hospitality and industrial segments. The fund—with US$600 mm of AUM—has created a new position for an asset and fund management associate to help lead strategic and financial initiatives related to the management of the portfolio. You will play a key role in shaping the firm’s growth through hands-on involvement in strategic planning, financial analysis, and decision-making at the highest level.

What the job involves

• Develop financial models, projections, and valuations for the fund and its projects
• Prepare quarterly and annual reports for investors, including fund performance summaries, project updates, and market information
• Support capital raising and debt financing processes
• Review and analyze financial, accounting, contractual, economic, and market information related to projects, businesses, or real estate transactions
• Review legal and technical documentation associated with transactions or projects and assist in coordinating with external advisors

Who we are looking for

• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in the financial sector, private equity, real estate, or similar fields
• Experience in fund, asset, and investment vehicle management
• Highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and Financial Modelling
• Full professional proficiency in English
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related fields
• Strong analytical skills with a problem-solving mindset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proactive and enthusiastic about being part of a small, entrepreneurial team
