The GP Capital Advisory team is experiencing strong momentum, with impressive growth and a standout deal record, supported by a dedicated group of 16 professionals based in London and New York. As the team continues to expand its strategic footprint, they are now seeking a driven and ambitious Analyst to play a key role in shaping the future trajectory of this high-performing team.

What the job involves

  • Playing an integral role in supporting the deal team throughout the full execution lifecycle of complex transactions
  • Delivering tailored, strategic insights to clients by leveraging the firm’s extensive network of GP and investor relationships
  • Providing high-impact advisory across minority equity investments, control M&A, debt, and preferred equity financings on a global scale
  • Cultivating and expanding relationships within the firm’s investor base at the peer level
  • Assisting senior leadership with the execution of origination initiatives and business development efforts
  • Mentoring and supporting junior team members in their professional growth and project delivery

Who we are looking for

  • 0–2 years of relevant experience, ideally with exposure to M&A at a leading investment bank or boutique advisory firm
  • Strong foundation in accounting, corporate finance, and a solid understanding of the Financial Institutions sector
  • Exceptional financial modelling skills, with the ability to build robust models from the ground up
  • A proactive mindset with a passion for working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a sharp eye for detail
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a team, manage multiple workstreams, and thrive under pressure
  • The ability to demonstrates high levels of integrity, ambition, and a strong internal drive for excellence
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the confidence to build relationships and engage with senior stakeholders both internally and externally
  • Holds a degree from a top-tier academic institution
  • Please note that the salary range for this role is $120,000 to $140,000
