We are working with an award-winning placement agent and advisory firm which is looking to hire a VP into their Munich office.

This is an exciting opportunity to be  part of a growing team, covering all major asset classes with a specific focus on private equity and venture capital.

What the job involves

• Lead private capital raise processes across multiple product lines, ranging from private equity and credit to venture capital and real assets
• Oversee work products produced by analysts and associates, including status reports, activity reports, roadshows calendars, investor profiles, agendas and marketing materials
• Communicate directly with clients on fundraise activity, roadshows and marketing materials and provide strategic and advisory input to clients

Who we are looking for

• 2:1 minimum (or equivalent) from a recognised university
• Track record of client and/or investor exposure and impact
• Ability to ‘think on your feet’ with good commercial judgement
• High level of attention to detail, organisational skills and ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Strong numerical, PowerPoint and Excel skills
• Solid understanding of corporate finance (balance sheets, P&L, capital structures etc.)
• Experience in investment banking, investor relations, private equity, consulting, or private capital placement, with solid experience in private markets fundraising 
• Must possess knowledge of alternative assets industry 
• Fluent in German, with good command of written and spoken English
