About our client

Our client is a newly established, private equity-backed cyber-security and compliance company specializing in data protection, information security, and cybersecurity services. Backed by a successful private equity investor, the company is executing a clear growth strategy focused on acquiring and integrating complementary businesses.

In this newly created role, the PMI Manager will join a young, dynamic team from the outset and take on a high level of responsibility in shaping the organization’s future.

What the job involves

• Play a key role in driving the organization’s growth and integration strategy
• Identify and leverage synergies across data protection, information security, and cybersecurity offerings
• Develop and implement cross-selling strategies for security services within the existing client base
• Support the development of an integrated group of companies
• Lead and coordinate post-merger integration (PMI) activities across functions, including HR, sales, and IT systems
• Drive the implementation of management software across portfolio companies
• Build and maintain strong relationships with Mittelstand entrepreneurs and key stakeholders
• Take a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach within a lean, fast-paced environment

Who we are looking for

• A degree, for example in Business Administration, and at least 5 years of relevant, hands-on professional experience are required
• Proven experience in a similar role is essential, with a strong focus on operational PMI expertise
• Background in consulting preferred, with a strong focus on implementation rather than pure strategy
• Down-to-earth personality, comfortable engaging with Mittelstand business owners
• Experience gained at a management consultancy or specialized boutique is advantageous
• Affinity for software and digital tools, with a focus on business applications rather than development
• Experience within a buy and build environment is beneficial
• Strong interest in cybersecurity and compliance topics
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to take ownership and responsibility
• Based in Frankfurt, Germany
• Fluent in German and English
