About our client

Our client: a rapidly expanding cross-border e-commerce platform making a vast selection of products easily available around the world, is hiring its first full-time team members to help accelerate its global expansion, and as a key part of this team, they are looking for a Strategy & Operations Associate. Position will be based in Mexico City, Mexico.

The platform began serving customers in the Caribbean, Canada, and the U.K., and is now scaling into Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, and the UAE, with more markets on the way. By sourcing from authorized U.S. dealers and delivering a fast, seamless shopping experience, it aims to raise the bar for international retail and improve access, convenience, and quality of life for customers worldwide.

What the job involves

• Partner directly with the Founder/CEO, contributing to both high-level strategic decisions and day-to-day business execution
• Play a core role in scaling a fast-growing global startup, becoming a key driver of operational maturity and expansion
• Own special projects as the company evolves, acting as a critical support point during rapid growth
• Improve and streamline internal operations, helping reduce the CEO’s operational load and keeping the business running smoothly
• Conduct light strategic and financial analysis, providing insights that support informed decision-making
• Research and evaluate potential international markets, identifying opportunities, risks, and market attractiveness
• Handle a wide range of responsibilities, from analytical tasks to administrative execution, ensuring organization, speed, and quality
• Deliver work with high accuracy, responsiveness, and a positive, solutions-oriented attitude

• Willing to roll up their sleeves and take on whatever business needs, with a strong bias toward action
• Highly organized, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple priorities without sacrificing quality
• Excellent communicator with a proactive mindset, able to anticipate needs and keep leadership aligned
• Advanced English proficiency
• Strong analytical and quantitative abilities, capable of turning data into useful insights
• Experience in Venture Capital, consulting, finance, startup operations, or similar fields
• Excited to be one of the company’s first hires and grow alongside the business as it scales globally
