About our client

We are working with a global impact investor that has been supporting sustainable economic growth for decades. With billions in assets under management and investments spanning hundreds of businesses worldwide, the organisation is committed to tackling critical development challenges and fostering more inclusive, sustainable, and resilient economies.

The organisation is seeking to add to its capital solutions team, which partners closely with investment colleagues to shape and deliver innovative strategies across sectors, regions, and financial instruments. This team plays a pivotal role in creating and managing dedicated pools of capital and partnerships designed to balance impact, risk, return, and governance considerations.

What the job involves

  • Manage governance processes and prepare documentation to support investment decision-making
  • Shape and oversee blended finance vehicles and thematic capital facilities focused on climate, mobilisation, and resilience
  • Lead on governance, portfolio tracking, reporting, and stakeholder coordination across key initiatives
  • Identify and design next-generation investment structures (e.g. sustainable, climate-focused, or gender-lens vehicles)
  • Build and manage strategic partnerships with peer organisations and foundations, including co-investment and joint research initiatives
  • Act as a mentor within the team and contribute to a high-performing, collaborative culture

Who we are looking for

  • Previous experience in sustainable, responsible or impact investing with transaction exposure
  • A credible and engaging presentational style, coupled with the confidence to be effective in relationship building
  • High level of numeracy and technical proficiency, combined with the commercial awareness to put the numbers into their strategic context
  • Available to start immediately
