About our client

Our client is a recognized private equity real estate fund focused on the residential for rent sector. You will work alongside a team of talented asset management professionals as Data Scientist, playing a crucial role in shaping how data supports the fund’s growth. This is a full-time position based in Mexico City with a hybrid work schedule.

What the job involves

• Analyze lead flow and tenant behavior from HubSpot CRM to create focused marketing segments
• Design predictive models to optimize marketing campaigns and leasing strategies
• Develop scripts and tools to automate key reporting functions, including tenant collections, delinquency monitoring, weekly leasing activities, and quarterly KPI dashboards
• Incorporate MRI (SQL-based) data into more user friendly formats in Excel or BI applications
• Streamline the analysis and interpretation of monthly variance reports in partnership with the Finance and Development teams
• Coordinate and connect operational data with budget and forecasting models maintained in Excel
• Collaborate closely with asset management, marketing, and IT departments to pinpoint opportunities for enhancements based on data insights

Who we are looking for

• Experience in data analysis, ideally in real estate, finance, SaaS, or consumer behavior evaluation
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in data science, engineering, applied mathematics, computer science or actuary science
• Solid knowledge and expertise in SQL (MRI database familiarity is a plus), Python or R for automation and data analysis
• Superior skills in Excel (including Power Query, advanced formulas, and macros) and Business Intelligence tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
• Proactive leader with a solutions-oriented approach
• Familiarity with CRM platforms like HubSpot and digital marketing indicators
• Interest in the real estate sector, particularly, the growing multifamily segment in Mexico
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish is a must
