Our client, a global sustainability-focused investment fund are currently looking to hire a Compliance Manager to join their London office. The fund invests in a broad range of assets on an international scale and has performed very well in recent years. They are invested in more than 50 countries worldwide and currently manage assets of over $10bn. They are currently going through a growth phase making it an exciting time to join.

What the job involves

As the Compliance Manager you will play a pivotal role within the fund. Working alongside the MD for Compliance you will cover a broad compliance remit working across multiple jurisdictions. This is an exciting opportunity for a up and coming compliance professional, ideally with alternative investment exposure to step up and expand their scope. There is plenty of opportunity for growth within the role and you would also have some management responsibility.

• Regulatory compliance and controls across the business
• Financial crime prevention
• Process management including KYC/AML
• Monitoring and risk based programmes
• Overseeing compliance training for the business
• Advisory, systems and project support
• Ad-hoc compliance-related support to the business

Who we are looking for

• Previous compliance experience in a regulated alternative investment setting
• An understanding of private equity or venture capital would be advantageous
• Valuable experience within a generalist compliance role
• Organisational skills; excellent time management in order to cover a broad range of tasks
