About our client

We are currently working with a recognized real estate and hospitality firm with a solid presence in luxury brand hotels. Our client has a presence in landmark locations around Mexico and the Caribbean. Senior management currently seeks a Revenue Director who will play a crucial role in developing financial, marketing and commercial strategies, in close collaborations with the hotels’ operators. The position is based in Mexico City, México.
What the job involves

  • Develop the annual commercial strategy for the hotel portfolio
  • Collaborate with the operators to set the yearly revenue targets, developing the annual budgets for the hotel portfolio
  • Analyze market information and the history of the properties in the portfolio to define general and specific lines of action for each one of the properties, identifying opportunities and strategies to execute
  • Establish and maintain close relationships with operators and clients to generate new business and opportunities
  • Oversee the implementation of the strategies and closely monitor the outcomes
  • Interpret historical results of income, sales and marketing data to identify trends and project future trends
  • Propose, influence, negotiate, discuss and jointly review the commercial strategy as well as the tactical actions to be established with internal and external stakeholders
  • Identify areas of opportunity, both in the market and the properties
  • Lead, motivate and develop the team under your charge
  • Keep senior management, the hospitality area and third parties informed about the performance of the portfolio

Who we are looking for

  • Solid experience in hotel revenue management with all-inclusive, full-service and multi-property responsibility
  • Experience in high-end luxury hotel brands across Mexico and the Caribbean
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, commercial relations or related field
  • Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish is a MUST
  • Excellent skills in negotiations and teamwork
  • Analytical, organized, technical and detail oriented
