We are partnering with a leading global asset manager headquartered in London, with a well-established international private markets platform. Building on a strong investment track record, the firm is now raising a dedicated European defence strategy, focused on backing founder-led lower mid-market businesses that strengthen Europe's resilience and security.

As part of this exciting new initiative, the firm is expanding its investment team and establishing a Copenhagen office. Successful candidates will join the founding team, working alongside an experienced and highly regarded group of investment professionals.

What the job involves

• Play an active role across the full investment lifecycle, including origination, evaluation, structuring, execution and portfolio management
• Work closely with Partners and Directors across a range of private equity investment strategies
• Contribute to investment committee materials, due diligence, financial analysis and portfolio value creation initiatives
• Gain exposure to the firm's broader private markets platform, with opportunities to support fundraising and investor engagement where appropriate

Who we are looking for

• Experience in lower mid-market private equity, growth investing or relevant transaction advisory
• A demonstrable track record of sourcing, evaluating and executing Nordic transactions
• The ability to lead transactions with increasing autonomy and confidence
• Outstanding analytical, financial modelling and commercial judgement, combined with exceptional attention to detail
• Excellent academic credentials from a leading university
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas clearly and confidently
